About Me

Delight Chilegide Olumati is a poet, songwriter, and author. She has performed her intimately powerful and calm poems on stage. Her thought-provoking works on love, grief, and general examination of one’s thoughts have built her into who she embodies. Her first paperback publication “Sweet Savour,” published by Pendullum Publishing Inc in 2021 is currently in the Rivers State Curriculum for JSS3 (2021-2024). She’s the deputy director and manager of Lines and Rhymes, a poetry talk and game show in Nigeria. Additionally, she is the convener of Poetry Meets Children, an initiative dedicated to introducing poetry to young minds and fostering a love for words and creativity in Children.
